Holistic Birth & Postpartum Support in Austin, Texas

How I Work With Women

This work is rooted in decades of experience, deep respect for physiology, and an understanding of how easily authority can be lost in pregnancy and birth.

I don’t offer one-size-fits-all packages or prescriptive paths.
I offer presence, perspective, and support for women who want to remain at the center of their own decisions.

What that looks like depends on where you are, what you’re navigating, and how you want to be supported.

The Nature of This Work

The support I offer is:

  • relational, not transactional

  • grounded in lived experience rather than theory alone

  • centered on informed choice and personal responsibility

  • responsive rather than directive

I don’t tell women what to do.
I don’t replace one authority with another.

I work alongside women as they think, feel, question, decide, and move through pregnancy and birth in ways that are aligned with their values.

Ways We Can Partner

Depending on your needs, our work together may include:

  • Talking through options, questions, or concerns as they arise

  • Helping you slow down recommendations so you can understand context, implications, and alternatives

  • Supporting you in clarifying what you want — separate from fear, pressure, or outside expectations

  • Offering perspective shaped by years of witnessing how different choices play out over time

  • Helping you stay grounded and oriented to your body and intuition during intense or uncertain moments

This work is about understanding, not instruction.
About choice, not compliance.

What This Work Is — and Is Not

This work is:

  • supportive

  • educational

  • reflective

  • grounded in physiology and lived experience

This work is not:

  • medical care

  • emergency support

  • a replacement for licensed providers

  • a guarantee of outcomes

I don’t diagnose, prescribe, or make decisions on your behalf.

I help you stay connected to your authority.

Who This Is For

This work is for women who:

  • want to be informed without being overwhelmed

  • want support without being directed

  • are willing to engage actively in their own decision-making

  • understand that autonomy comes with responsibility

It is not a fit for those looking to hand over control, follow instructions, or be promised specific results.

How to Begin

Connection begins with a conversation — not a commitment.
