The Conscious Pregnancy

The Conscious Pregnancy

A private mentorship for women who believe pregnancy is more than preparation for birth. It's preparation for becoming.

Private 1:1 Pregnancy Mentorship for Women Choosing an Autonomous Path

Pregnancy changes your body.

Birth changes your life.

But the deepest transformation is the woman you become when you stop asking for permission to know yourself.

Whether you are planning a freebirth, a home birth, or simply seeking a pregnancy rooted in autonomy rather than fear, this mentorship is designed to walk beside you, not above you.

I won't tell you what to choose.

I won't make decisions for you.

I won't replace your intuition.

Instead, I'll help you cultivate discernment, deepen your understanding of physiology, navigate uncertainty, and meet birth from a place of grounded presence rather than borrowed authority.

This is not traditional childbirth education.

This is mentorship.

Who This Is For

This mentorship is for women who want to approach pregnancy differently.

Women who...

  • Believe birth is more than a medical event.

  • Want to understand physiology rather than memorize protocols.

  • Value autonomy alongside thoughtful decision-making.

  • Are willing to take responsibility for their choices.

  • Desire a trusted guide to think with them instead of thinking for them.

  • Want emotional, educational, and practical support throughout pregnancy.

You do not have to fit into a particular birth category.

Whether you're planning a freebirth, home birth, birth center birth, or hospital birth, the work remains the same:

Learning to become the primary author of your own experience.

What We'll Explore

Every mentorship is personalized, but together we'll explore topics such as:

  • Birth physiology and the orchestration of labor

  • Understanding normal variations and recognizing when evaluation may be appropriate

  • Pregnancy decision-making frameworks

  • Emotional regulation during uncertainty

  • Fear, trauma, and trust

  • Partner preparation

  • Creating a birth environment that supports physiology

  • Postpartum planning

  • Integrating previous birth experiences

  • Developing confidence without abandoning humility

Your Mentorship Includes

A Private Pregnancy Guidebook

A beautifully designed keepsake filled with education, journal prompts, reflection exercises, preparation tools, and space to document your journey.

Something you'll return to long after your baby is born.

Four Private Mentorship Sessions

Approximately 90-120 minutes each.

Together we'll create a personalized roadmap for your pregnancy while exploring your questions, history, goals, and concerns.

Each conversation is tailored specifically to you.

Ongoing Text & Voice Support

From the time we begin until six weeks postpartum.

Questions.

Decision processing.

Encouragement.

A place to think out loud.

You won't be navigating pregnancy alone.

Labor Availability

When labor begins, you'll have access to me by phone and text for support, grounding, education, and helping you think clearly as decisions arise.

My role is not to direct your care or replace emergency services or medical providers. My role is to offer experienced, non-medical support as you navigate your own path.

Birth Story Integration

After your birth we'll meet for a private debrief.

You'll have space to tell the story, celebrate what unfolded, grieve what didn't, and honor the woman you've become.

Six Weeks of Postpartum Support

Because birth is not the finish line.

Questions.

Feeding.

Recovery.

Identity shifts.

Celebration.

Integration.

You continue to have someone in your corner as you settle into motherhood.

About Me

I've spent more than three decades immersed in birth.

I've attended births as a labor and delivery nurse, hospice nurse, doula, educator, student midwife, and traditional birth companion. I've supported families across hospitals, homes, birth centers, and deeply individual paths that didn't fit neatly into any category.

What I've learned is this:

Information matters.

Experience matters.

But presence matters most.

Women rarely need another expert to tell them what to do.

They need someone who can remain steady while they remember how to trust themselves.

That is the role I hold.

An Important Note

This mentorship is educational and supportive in nature.

I do not provide medical care, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, replace licensed healthcare providers, or attend births as part of this offering.

You remain the decision-maker throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

Investment

$3,333

Payment plans are available.

Enrollment is intentionally limited so every client receives thoughtful, individualized support.

This Is Not About Having the "Perfect" Birth

Birth cannot be controlled.

No one can promise a particular outcome.

This mentorship isn't about certainty.

It's about cultivating the wisdom to meet whatever unfolds with clarity, courage, and integrity.

Because the greatest gift of pregnancy isn't simply bringing a baby into the world.

It's becoming the woman who can meet the world, and herself, with open eyes.

My husband and I paid for the all-inclusive birth package... Joni is a truly incredible person! One of the most amazing people I’ve ever met - we loved her from day one, and now 2 months postpartum, we love her even more. To share such an intimate part of your life with someone is a lifelong bonding experience and we feel blessed that Joni will always be a part of our story. She has a heart of gold, a wealth of knowledge from being a labor & delivery nurse for years, and tons of personal experience through her own births... We honestly can’t imagine doing labor without her. It was our first time and my labor had some challenges - Joni was on call and available whenever, so supportive and educational and we could never say thank you enough to her. On top of that, we have some of the most intimate and beautiful photos of our little man being born ❤️.

🌿 Care That Centers the Woman

Birth is not something done to a woman.
It is something she moves through.

My work is rooted in the belief that the pregnant woman remains at the center of all decision-making.

That isn’t symbolic. It’s structural.

Centering her means:

Informed Choice
Sharing knowledge in context — so decisions are made with clarity rather than pressure.

Honored Autonomy
Trusting her inner knowing and supporting her right to choose without coercion or hierarchy.

Holistic Support
Attending to the emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual layers of pregnancy and birth.

Embodied Confidence
Strengthening her connection to her body, so she can move through intensity with steadiness.

Voice & Presence
Supporting her ability to speak, ask questions, and remain oriented in moments of uncertainty.

This is not about directing outcomes.
It is about protecting space for her discernment.

That is what makes the work sacred — not spectacle, but alignment.
