When people use this companion
People use this when they find themselves thinking things like:
“I feel rushed to decide and don’t trust my clarity.”
“Everyone has an opinion and I’m losing my center.”
“I keep going in circles and can’t land.”
“I know something feels off, but I can’t articulate why.”
“I need help thinking — not advice.”
“I’m afraid of making a decision I’ll regret.”
In these moments, the companion doesn’t push you forward.
It helps you slow down and regain clarity without giving your power away.
Who this is for
This companion is for you if:
you want to remain the authority of your own experience
you notice yourself freezing or complying under pressure
you value integrity more than certainty
you’re willing to pause rather than rush clarity
you want support that strengthens discernment, not dependence
It’s especially supportive during pregnancy and birth —
but applies to any moment where stakes are high and pressure is present.
Why I created this
I’ll be honest — I don’t love ChatGPT.
I’ve seen how easily it can replace embodied knowing with answers, certainty, and external authority. And yet, after many conversations with clients, it became clear that people are already using it to make sense of their questions and decisions — especially around pregnancy and birth — and that isn’t going to change.
So I chose to meet reality with integrity. Rather than asking people not to use ChatGPT, I created a way for them to use it more consciously — as a tool for reflection and clarity, not instruction or reassurance.
And that’s how Staying with Yourself was born.
(With a loving nudge from two families who wouldn’t let me forget it needed to exist: Ilana and Joel and Maegan and Justin. I am so grateful for you all.)
After decades of working at birth thresholds, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat:
People don’t lose power because they make the “wrong” decision.
They lose power because pressure hijacks their clarity.
This companion was created so clarity doesn’t require my nervous system — or yours — to be overwhelmed.
It’s orientation language, made interactive.
It’s like having me in your pocket.

Staying With Yourself — A Sovereignty Companion
A steadier way to meet moments that matter.
When pressure makes it hard to think, this helps you regain clarity — without outsourcing yourself.
Most people use ChatGPT to get answers.
To analyze options.
To weigh pros and cons.
To decide faster.
That works well for tasks and information.
But when you’re under real pressure — especially around pregnancy, birth, or high-stakes personal decisions — answers often make things worse.
They increase urgency.
They pull authority outward.
They push you to act before your body has caught up.
This companion was created for those moments.
A different way to use AI
Staying With Yourself — A Sovereignty Companion is not a generic chatbot.
It’s a custom interactive GPT trained on my written work, recorded teachings, and decades of lived experience as a birthworker — including how I work with pressure, fear, authority, and decision-making in real bodies and real moments.
It does not give advice.
It does not tell you what to do.
It does not try to make fear go away.
Instead, it helps you regain clarity when pressure makes it hard to think.
How this is different from regular ChatGPT
Regular ChatGPT is designed to:
generate answers
analyze options
optimize decisions
move you toward action
This companion is designed for moments when:
answers don’t settle you
analysis increases urgency
more information makes things louder
you don’t trust your clarity anymore
Rather than deciding for you, it:
slows the moment
names how pressure is affecting your thinking
reflects patterns without judgment
helps you distinguish urgency from emergency
returns attention to your body, values, and timing
It’s not trying to be smarter.
It’s trying to be steadier.
How it works
This custom GPT works with your Chat GPT. It adds on as an integration so it utilizes the internet as a database but answers you with my language and experience.
You interact with the companion privately, at your own pace.
When you bring a situation that feels confusing, urgent, or overwhelming, it responds by:
gently interrupting urgency
helping you notice what’s happening internally
refusing to make decisions for you
asking orienting questions that widen perspective
It helps you think with yourself again.
You can also bring your Human Design into this space if you already know it.
It will be used as a lens for noticing patterns — not as a set of rules or instructions.
Your lived, real-time experience always matters more than your chart.
